Kunphen Team organized one day Sorig First Aid Medical Camp at Yolmo Village, located at the foothill of the Himalayas on 18th June 2015, 7 hours drive from Kathmandu City.
Away from Kathmandu and up in the mountains, difficult to access and remote village that suffered severe damage from the earthquake. It can only be reached by helicopter and very few evacuated. Once the road to the village was accessible by road, our team wasted no time to send medical aid and supplies.
Beneficiaries of the project.
Total around of 200 patients received diagnosis and Sorig Medical treatment from Dr. Nyima Tsering and Dr. Tenzin Lektsok with four others kunphen staff.
