Tibetan External Therapies Course of Study DAS in TET - Diploma of Advanced Studies in Tibetan External Therapies

The course of study in Tibetan External Therapies comprises five levels, and is completed after a final examination and the presentation and acceptance of a thesis. The 15 modules (total 180 teaching hours) are complemented by intensive home studies and review classes. Additional optional theoretical TTM modules and practical Tibetan External Therapies modules as well as free style classes and study tours may be included.

TET 1 – Introduction to Sowa Rigpa, TET 3 – Basic Diagnostics and TET 3 – Basic Pathology are available via recordings on demand, which means students may register at any time and progress at their own pace! All other practical modules are to be attended in-person. Please subscribe to our mailing list to be informed on any upcoming in-person external therapies classes.

The course of study in Tibetan External Therapies can also be combined with the course of study in Traditional Tibetan Medicine resulting in 2 separate Sorig Khang International Diplomas if all requirements are met.

CERTIFICATION

Graduates who complete TET levels 1 through 5 are certified with a Sorig Khang International Diploma of Advanced Studies in Tibetan External Therapies (DAS in TET)

*The Diploma of Advanced Studies in Tibetan Medicine & External Therapies (DAS in TibMET) is equivalent to the Diploma of Advanced Studies in Traditional Tibetan Medicine (DAS in TTM) plus the Diploma of Advanced Studies in Tibetan External Therapies (DAS in TET).

*A medical study tour in Tibet is available to interested students. To participate, it is recommended (though not mandatory) to have some clinical experience from levels 1–3 of the TibMET curriculum, levels 1–4 of the Traditional Tibetan Medicine (TTM) curriculum or levels 1–4 of the Tibetan External Therapies curriculum (TET).

*For enrollment in our academic courses organized by Sorig Khang Singapore, all students are required to have a valid student membership.
