The 4-year Sowa Rigpa Practitioner academic track requires students to complete both SRET 1.1 (Basic Ku Nye Massage) and SRET 1.2 (Mebum Cupping). For non-professional students, these two modules are optional. Upon successful completion of the Year 1 Foundation, students are eligible to join the 4-year academic program and advance to Year 2.

Advanced Opportunities and Program Completion

Students pursuing advanced studies are required to participate in herbal study tours, which take place in Nepal, Tibet, or Bhutan. In addition, completion of a clinical internship is mandatory for advanced students.

Students interested in gaining hands-on experience may join free medical camps in Nepal, where they can apply their practical skills.

Upon successful completion of the 4-year Sowa Rigpa Practitioner program, along with the required thesis and final presentation, students are awarded the Sorig Khang International Diploma in Sowa Rigpa & External Therapies.
